This visit to Kebler Pass was in early October 2022 as the Aspens were beginning to turn color. The road runs for 35 miles from Paonia to Crested Butte and does not allow travel over 30 mph in most parts due to the washboard and pot holed dirt road. The aspens did not disappoint though they had not reached their full yellow colors. The shades of green in combination with the yellows made for an interesting pallette.
